AA 1050 is the aluminum alloy in the C.P. wrought family of series 1000-1xxx. It is the wrought alloy that is not used in casting. It is formed by the rolling and extrusion and is used commonly in the chemical and electrical industries. These AA 1050 alloys are having very good corrosion resistance ability, electrical conductivity and good working ability. As compared to the other material it is having low mechanical strength. It can be easily strengthened by the process named cold working, not by heat treatment.
