Aluminium Alloy 7075 is one of the most commonly used AA with zinc as a major alloying element. It is having very good mechanical strength and is also showing very good ductility and good toughness and fatigue resistance. It is greatly susceptible to the embrittlement than other aluminium alloys due to micro segregations but has significantly a very good resistance to general corrosion.
