1060 Chequered Plates

1060 alloy exhibits lower strength in comparison to other 1000 series alloys. But it is the pure aluminum alloy with splendid corrosion resisting qualities. These plates are good to go with high pressures, welding, flexibility, and stretching activities. They have been governed by some standards as – ASTM B209 this particular standard is for all the aluminum alloy products. Then the chemical composition of these alloys is specifically concerned with the BS EN 537. Similarly, BS EN 485 is accountable for the mechanical properties of the product. These plates are used in making decorative floorings, elect conductors, energy absorbers, train cars, ship body floors and to all other sectors, wherein unsmooth and some patterned surfaced plates are required.

They can be found in many finishing works like mill finish, polished finishes, and close tolerance polished finishing. These 1000 chequered series of alloys have different types based on the shapes drawn onto them. Like, bars, rounds, beans, two bars, four bars, five bars, etc. These patterns are dependent on the needs of the clients. There is the range of tempers also as O, F, H111, H112, H12, H14, H22, and H24.

These tests are inclusive of leco analysis, positive material identification, alloy verification, and identification tests, etc. they are generally packed in the wooden packaging or customized as per the orders.
